so, back to the originally scheduled update...
Alyx is doing really, really well with his cast He's definately enjoying all the attention - everyone wanting to know how he did it, how he feels, etc.

At home, after the ER - with all his requested comfort snacks around him :)
His best friend, Ethan was the first to get to sign his new cast.
His dad and I got to sign next - his dad drew the T-rex head :)
He was the definate center of attention as all his classmates got to sign his cast before class. We found the coolest metallic sharpies!
Even his teacher, Mrs. Allen signed :)

Ouch! I hope he heals well. Poor little guy.
When I was a kid I went through a stage where I tried to fall down a lot hoping to break something so I could have everyone sign my cast. LOL!!! It never worked. ;) Hope he is all healed up soon!
Wow! Whatta cool color for a cast. He looks so proud. Very cool that everyone gets to sign it and that you got pics of it. :)

Glad he made it thru "ok" and is on the road to recovory!!! I 12 weeks is a long time, but be thankful it in the fall my DD broke her elbow one June and missed the whole summer for swimming and sprinkler fun!!!!
